THE COLLECTIVE
Share, Collaborate, Innovate!
THE WHY
Being able to visualize how the dots connect is an important attribute for building sustainable products, policies and business. The Collective hopes to aggregate enough minds to connect the interdisciplinary dots.
Important questions were raised by readers after publishing the Mastermind manifesto. Find answers to some of the questions below.
What is the path going forward?
The first step to building a community or network of people is to ensure that everybody is on the same page as to the philosophy of the group. This is generally to ensure that we’re all on the same page when thinking about problems and solutions. To achieve this, a weekly newsletter that focuses on a systemic view of different subject matters will be featured.
How can I contribute?
Most of the readers have significant knowledge in a particular industry or discipline and are savvy enough to do valuable research and provide a systemic overview of their areas of interest. Anybody and everybody can contribute by curating knowledge and sharing with the team on areas of interest. Also sharing our content and ideas and encouraging people who can be valuable contributors to join will be very much appreciated.

What function will the “Collective” serve?
When fully mature or built out, The Collective will serve as a community for building sustainable businesses and policies by leveraging on the unique expertise of different members. It will also promote collaborative efforts into building new tools, business practices.
How long before the network is fully built?
Building a solid foundation takes time. This exercise will take 2 to 5 years of learning and retooling members to make better valuable contributions. The time factor is also a natural filtration process that will keep the dedicated, focused and committed at the time of launch.
What are the rules of engagement?
Everybody is encouraged to disagree openly in the comment section. The only request is that users be polite and considerate of other people’s feelings when commenting. You can also air your difference of opinion in a way that promotes learning.
What to expect in the short term?
In the meantime, while building out the community the focus will be on information dissemination. This will take different shapes and forms ranging from webinars, zoom conferences, pictorial illustrative books, a compilation of works published by the community. Potential meetups will also hold from time to time.
